ABOUT US
Dawn Gilmer was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated with a BA in Physical Education and Dance (emphasis on Vaganova Classical Ballet). After graduating college in 1980 she taught Dance in a Houston Public School, then opened a dance school in 1983. In 1987, she would have an encounter with God that would change her life forever.
Soon after, the Lord would prompt Dawn to change her dance school to Christian Dance Center, possibly the first Christian dance school in Houston. By 1992, God supernaturally had birthed a company of trained dancers that came together to praise, worship, evangelize, prophesy and minister His word throughout Houston and the nations. They shared the gospel in churches of all denominations, prisons, malls, street festivals, hospitals throughout Houston; and began to travel the nations.
The Lord began to birth full-length prophetic dance productions through dreams and visions, “Princess Ella”, “The Secret Place”, “Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs”, “Thy Kingdom Come” were some of the full length productions they performed in Houston and South Africa. The ministry of His Company International has interceded, prophesied, evangelized, worshipped and taught the word of God and continuously ministered in America, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Russia, Siberia, Romania, Peru, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Mexico, Malaysia and Singapore.
Dawn began training in Prophetic ministry in 1991 through Celebration Ministries (founder: Lora Allison), and began traveling with teams of dancers and ministers overseas in 1994, answering a call from the Lord to prophesy to the nations. In 1998, Dawn was ordained through Kingdom Advancers International. Salvations, baptisms of the Holy Spirit, signs, wonders and miracles have been a part of the ministry of the Spirit of God through Dawn. She has a heart to release the love of God and activate believers to step into their calling, purposes and anointing. Dawn has been married to Mike Gilmer for 41 years, has two grown and married children and three granddaughters.
